Welcome to Willow Class

All about your class teacher;

I started my teaching journey at Ingram Road in 2023, and have loved every minute.

I enjoy reading a good book with a cup of tea and spending time with my family and friends.

I enjoy walking my dogs, Jones and Scout, on the weekend and getting into the outdoors. I grew up in the Lake district where I spent my weekends swimming in lakes and making shelters to hide in with my friends.

Our Class;

The adults in Willow class are:

Miss Thompson

Mrs Ridge

This half term we are learning about;

During the Autumn term, Beech class will be learning all about Yorkshire and the local area. We will be using maps, globes and atlas' to identify our local area and we will start to look at directional language using bee-bots and compasses.

In English, the children will be using comman (bossy) sentences to write their own instructional texts. You can support your child by writing sentences together at home.
