Help with the cost of Living

 

Together Leeds - is a one stop for lots of information to help support families through the cost of living crisis.

 

Zero Waste Leeds - free uniform exchange, sport kit and equipment, winter coats.

 

Leeds Baby Bank - support for families in Leeds with baby essentials, from nappies and formula, to stairgates, buggies, clothing and toys, the charity aim to provide all that is needed to support families in caring for children aged 0-5. We partner with the local community through pre-loved essentials being donated from one family to another. Through this, we also play our part in reducing landfill and encouraging sustainable living.

 

Zarach - We deliver beds and basics to children in poverty, to help families in crisis rise up from surviving to thriving so children can Eat, Sleep and Learn.

Money Buddies Money Buddies are here to help you save money, increase your income and advise you at times of financial crisis.

Whether you’re having difficulty paying any debt, need legal debt advice or if you are not sure of what to do about your finances, we can help you. Money Buddies offer many services including FREE debt advice in Leeds.

Money Buddies are the biggest independent Money Advice Service in West Yorkshire. Our aim is to help our clients out of debt, poverty and have social justice.

You don’t need to have a financial crisis to get help, we are open and free to all.  Many of our clients don’t have any financial issues- they come in to see a Money Buddy to find out where they can save money on their gas, electricity, water bills and much more.

We don’t charge, we don’t judge and we don’t tell anyone. Your safety and Financial capability is our priority. It’s important to us that you can get free debt advice and that we can help as many people in Leeds and beyond.

Return a book

You can drop off books that you have finished with. There are no fines if you are returning books late.

Collect or renew a book

You can renew books that you already have and pick up books that you have reserved. You can reserve a book:

Use our computers

Computers can be used for essential or urgent need only. Examples of this may include:   

  • booking housing repairs
  • benefits related
  • welfare or health and wellbeing related
  • updating your CV and searching for jobs

Contact us to book a free 45 minute session to use a computer.   

You can use our printers, but please bring correct change. We won't be able to help you to use the computers or printer.
