How are the schools resources allocated and matched to children with special educational needs?
- The SEN budget is allocated each financial year. The money is used to provide additional staffing to support or resources dependent on an individual’s needs.
- Further support or resources may be allocated to your child following discussion with parents or following assessments by school staff or outside agencies (e.g. SENIT or Speech and Language Therapist).
- Funding may be used to buy in specialist support or equipment.
- Individual Pupil Premium payments are used to support that pupil’s learning.
