Welcome to Nursery Class

All about your class teacher:

Hi, my name is Mrs Rendle.

I have been part of the Ingram Road community for 8 years and have taught in KS1 (4 years), Reception (2 years)and Nursery. I came back off maternity leave in March 2024 and started teaching in Nursery, which has been an incredible experience so far. I am really looking forward to starting the year with my Nursery class and going on this journey together.

I love teaching, especially EYFS and getting to know my class, understanding what the children enjoy doing most and what particularly sparks their interest! Usually I will look at what the children enjoy doing and then tailor the classroom provisions to their interests.

When I am not busy at school you can probably find me exercising either at the gym or running and recently I ran my first half marathon! My personal goal is to continue strength training to get stronger and complete a marathon.

I also love spending quality time with my son, husband, doggie (Ruby) and cat (Ringo).

After a long, busy day, you will usually find me winding down with my head in a book. I LOVE the Harry Potter series and have read the books multiple times!
