Maple
Welcome to Maple Class
All about your class teacher:
My name is Miss Richardson and I am so excited to be teaching Maple Class this year! I am looking forward to seeing the children make great progress and enjoy their learning.
I have been teaching for over twenty years across the primary school years. Some of you may know me from Reception at Ingram Road!
When I am not teaching I enjoy going to watch Leeds United and more recently the Leeds Knights ice hockey team. Visiting London to go to the theatre and art galleries is also a favourite hobby of mine.
Our Class:
Miss Lloyd and Miss Taylor support children in Maple Class. Ms Connor supports Maple, Elm, and Hazel classes. Miss Toulson teaches in all three classes.

Important things to remember:
Homework | Homework will always be given to children on a Friday and will need to be returned by the following Wednesday. Homework Club is held in Maple Class on a Monday and Tuesday lunchtime.
Maths Homework Children will be assigned page numbers to complete from their maths booklet.
English Homework Children will be assigned page numbers to complete from their reading comprehension or grammar and punctuation booklets. |
Spellings | Your child will also receive spellings on a Friday. They must complete these spellings within their spelling books and return these to school, ready to be tested on the following Friday.
|
Reading | It is very important for your child to build up confidence and fluency in reading. Your child will bring home their reading book each night. Please sign the reading record every time your child has read with an adult. We will check each week and add a sticker to their book mark for each day they read at home. When the book mark is full, they will receive a book to keep forever. |
PE kit | PE is on a Tuesday afternoon. We try to do PE outside, so please send appropriate outdoor PE kit. |
