Admissions
When can my child start school?
Reception
Pupils are admitted into the reception class in the year in which they have their 5th birthday. They are admitted in the September only.
For children due to start reception class next September, you will receive a letter from Leeds City Council inviting you to apply for a place in the second half of the Autumn Term just before Christmas when online applications open.
For each primary or infant school there is a planned admission limit, which for Ingram Road Primary School is 45. This means that the maximum number of pupils that can be admitted to the school in any year is 45. If the school becomes oversubscribed, priority for places is determined according to the following criteria, in the order shown:
The child lives in the catchments area and has siblings in the school.
The child lives in the catchments area.
The child lives outside the catchments area and has siblings in the school.
Any other children.
