Coronavirus - LOCKDOWN - Government Update 23rd March

23rd March

Dear Parents/Carers

With the news this evening that more shops and public spaces are closed from tonight, I wanted to make sure that our families are fully aware of what this means to them.

The only reasons you may leave home:

  • Shopping for basic necessities, for example food and medicine, which must be as infrequent as possible.

  • One form of exercise a day, for example a run, walk, or cycle -alone or with members of your household.

  • Any medical need, or to provide care or to help a vulnerable person.

  • Travelling to and from work, but only where this absolutely cannot be done from home.

This means that children should not play out in the park or on the street. Children should be at HOME with an adult and follow the rules above.

Read the full guidance released from the Government today.

While this is a very difficult situation, if people continue to do their 'normal' daily routine, then the virus will continue to get worse.

Please, keep you and your family safe by staying at HOME. This will be he case for at least the next 3 weeks.

We will continue to update our school community by posting links and news on our website; all of the up to date information can be found in one place.

Yours faithfully

Miss Millard
