• Important Information - School opening between now and the end of term

  Dear Parents/Carers

   

  As we continue to welcome more children in Year 6, Year 1 and Reception, please may I remind you that we are still currently closed to other year groups (Nursery, Years 2,3,4 and 5).

   

  If you would like your child to come back to school they either have to be in the Reception Class, Year 1 or Year 6 and you have to contact school to complete a registration from 7 days in advance.

   

  If you are a key worker and your child is in year 2,3,4 or 5 we have very limited places, please contact school to find out whether we have a place for your child.

   

  • It is essential that if your child is currently attending school that you arrive on time to drop off and collect your child on time.
  • If you have arranged for your child to come back to school but they do not attend you MUST contact school before 9am. This is so that we can confirm that they are not absent due to Covid-19 - so that we can make sure that everyone else in school remains safe.
  • If your child fails to attend they may be taken off of the register so that we can accommodate other children.

   

  School will close for the Summer on Friday 17th July and will re-open on Wednesday 9th September. We are planning that school will be open to all children from this date but we are still waiting for further guidance from the Government and will keep you updated.

  Did you know that you can now access FREE online PE resources that your child will be familiar with because we use them in school?

   

  At Ingram Road we are very proud to be a 'Real Legacy' school which means that we have invested and committed to a scheme of works that enables us as a school to make sure that EVERY child is involved in high quality PE lessons.

   

  The FREE resources are a fun way for families to have a go at some of the challenges that are available via their 'Jasmine real legacy' website, just click on the link to sign up!

• Plans to Re-open School 26th May 2020

  Dear Parents/Carers,

   

  Re: update on possible reopening of schools

   

  Thank you for your patience while we waited for further information on reopening schools – the government has now published more guidance, and it is anticipated that school will re-open for some year groups (below) from the 1^st June.

   

  Please read the Parent Advisory for further information about your child returning to school.

   

  For our School this will mean that:

   

  Key Worker Children continue their provision on Monday 1^st June at 8.15am – 3.15pm

   

  If you are a key worker and you child is one of the groups below, then they will return to their ‘normal’ year group with their classmates.

   

  Year 6 will open on Monday 1^st June at 8.30am – 2.30pm (Ash, Oak and Sycamore classes)

  Year 1 will open on Tuesday 2^nd June 8.45am – 2.45pm (Beech, Cedar and Willow classes)

  Reception will open on Tuesday 2^nd June 9am – 3pm (Holly and Elderberry classes)

   

  Nursey, Year 2,3,4 and 5 will NOT re-open until further notice.

   

  It is extremely important that you read the guidelines and detailed plan so that we can make sure that re-opening the school for these groups will be as safe and as stress free as possible for all concerned.

   

  Precautions we’ll be taking include:

                                       

  • Limiting class sizes
  • Staggering break times, and pick-up and drop-off times
  • Increased cleaning
  • Keeping pupils and staff with coronavirus symptoms at home
