  • Valentines Disco 2018

    Sun 28 Jan 2018

The Annual Valentine's Disco returns on Thursday 8th February! All children are welcome from Reception class through to Year 6, unfortunately it gets a little bit noisy and very busy, so we don't encourage our nursery children to join in just yet!

The doors open at 4pm, you can buy a ticket on the door for £1 and there will be drinks and snacks available to buy, from 20p to 60p each.

The disco will finish at 5.30pm, all children must be collected by an adult.

  • Project offers opportunity to get involved in your community

    Mon 08 Jan 2018

Would you like to get involved in the local community in Holbeck, share your experience and knowledge of the local area with others and help make a real difference?

Ingram Road Primary School has been supporting MAP+, an exciting new project which aims to bring communities together and help people connect through volunteering opportunities and weekly get-togethers.

There is a weekly drop-in. Join us every Wednesday , 1.30-3.30pm for a cup or tea or coffee to chat about the local area, share ideas and try new things.

We also have volunteering opportunities with free training, offering a chance to gain experience and confidence and meet new people.

MAP+ Buddies: would you like to help someone new to the area to settle in? We are looking for friendly, positive people who are knowledgeable about Holbeck and Leeds and are happy to befriend newcomers from all over the world and show them around.

MAP+ Migrant Community Networkers: we are looking for people who can speak English and other languages, who have been living in the UK for a while and would like to play an active role in their community and make it a great place to live, help others to settle in to your local area, use services and have their say about life in Leeds.

  • Letter from Mrs O'Hora (was Miss Anderson!)

    Mon 08 Jan 2018 Mrs O'Hora

Dear Children and Parents of Ingram Road,

As you may be aware, I sadly won’t be returning to Ingram Road after my maternity leave finishes in May. My family have decided to move to Ireland, where my husband has started a new job.

The last nine years at Ingram Road have been full of so many fantastic experiences, working with so many wonderful children. I want to thank all the families I have worked with over the years and to wish you all every success and happiness in the future.

To the children of Ingram Road, I hope that you all continue to work hard and achieve your full potential. You are a brilliant bunch of kids and I hope that you continue to strive to do your best in everything that you do!

I will keep in touch (in between running and around after the twins!) and will hopefully come back to visit soon.

    Best wishes,

    Tiffany O’Hora
